Winter Decor - Repurpose Wine Bottles!

Do you also think that winters are all about shivering, gulping hot drinks and staying dumped inside quilt? Not, anymore!  It can be a great fun if you are hot-blooded (like me, hehe) every time. You get a chance to wear different fashion, taste different recipes and more excited, traveling to hill stations to enjoy the nature’s snowy land sheet!

One more thing you can do is read this post and try it out (please share with me too). If you love both winter and decoration, you will love it too.

What you need:

  • An empty bottle (I got an empty glass bottle because glass would add weight to my creation)
  • Wool in your favorite color (I chose Pink and dust)
  • Transparent Tape! (Glue didn’t work with glass so I used tape. You can use glue depending on material you use)
Now things go as smooth as butter. First, remove the cap and counteract the bottle. Remember; start with the collar of bottle to give wool an automatic grip. Now, start swathing the wool around the bottle carefully. See this :

Once you reach bottom of the bottle, stick wool with feet of bottle using transparent tape. Counteract it back and your centerpiece it ready!!! See this:

Now decorate your piece with lovely applique. I got wreath from a retired candle and stocking flowers for my piece. See this:

I apologizes for unclear pictures (not seriously!). Hope you are so intelligent and tell me doesn't it look awesome!!!!!! Yeah, it looks!!!!! Have one more look :
Now see! I made it centerpiece of my living room's center table. So, if you are also going to try it, share pics with me. I would love it. And, next time I would definitely show you how to make stocking flowers :) !

Thanks for staying by!
